Looks like we have a comet losing its guts along the way. No visible trail, but a trail of pieces. Anyone know of other images that show this type of disintegration?
Nice bender in the NE quadrant. Looks to go straight and then turn, unlike others that seem to have a constant turn arc. What outside force could cause that?
Well now there’s just a whole bunch of interesting things going on in this image. I wonder, what’s the explanation for the two benders in the bottom half of this image?
At first it just looked like a comet flying by, but if you look at the tail closely, it bends slightly. What do you think?
Here we have what looks like several comets passing quickly in front of the LASCO camera. I’ve seen this before with only one or two, but several?
Now this one is interesting because generally when you see streaks they are bright and opaque. Not this shot! And as an added bonus, it’s a ‘bender’ too!
In the NE quadrant is what I’ve deemed as a ‘bender’. It seems to be a comet tail, except that it curves. Sometimes they have a consistent curve while others go straight before or after the ‘bend’. I’d love to see someone explain these phenomena.
